3 weeks - Growing every day

Well, as with every waking moment with MacKenzie, there are a lot of firsts to be had. The last of the umbilical cord came off right at 2 weeks, though her first bath submerged is yet to be had. She did have a little "shower" in the sink with her new bathing chair, and mom and dad still have to get a little more practice.
But mom and dad are doing great. Lots of sleep for baby, but much less of it for mom and dad. Dad had a birthday, but that was overshadowed by lots of baby love and attention, and mom's birthday at the end of the month will proabably be just the same. A whole family of birthdays in just over a month! And then Grandpa Paterson's is New Year's Day!

Mom can't wait to take a jog and get a little exercise post-recovery, and dad is back to work for 2 weeks before the holidays and Christmas in the mountains. It's been a cold December already, amazing to think Evan's sister Dana was getting married 4 years ago on the 15th worried about getting heatstroke and sweating too much in the 70 degrees sunny ceremony! Tonight we're getting a threat of ice, and the possibility of snow in the Ga. mountains this Christmas is not out of the question. Here are a few more pics to enjoy. (12/14/05)
