Belted and Dangerous!!!!!

Hi everyone!!!
Sorry it's been so long since my last post...I've been very busy (and Mom and Dad have been busy too!). Let's see, I started pre-K which is cool (but I have to wear a uniform which is not!). Now, normally I wouldn't be so anti-establishment but there is absolutely no pink in the uniform...what gives!!!

I've also started taking tae kwon do with Mommy...and for those of you that are thinking you're going to see Mommy pictures here, give up the dream. We ALL know how Mom feels about having her picture taken..it's not gonna happen. I on the other hand have no such hang ups...so you'll see plenty of me:)

Here I am receiving the my yellow tiger belt certificate!! Mom, Dad and Grandma Alini were on hand to watch me test for it. They were very proud of me...and I'm proud of myself too! I've included some still pics and some videos at the end. Enjoy!!!!

Here I am playing a game that works on hand/eye coordination. Miss Mia is my partner (she's a black belt and a lot taller than me!)

Here I am participating in a drill. Don't mess with the MacKenator!!!

Mr. Michael (one of my instructors) is helping me work on my face blocks.

Beware the feet of FURY!

This is soooo much fun!
Here I am doing froggie jumps during warm-up.
Posing for Grandma and Dad.

Having a talk with Mommy before the test.

Receiving my yellow tiger belt from Ms. Moore. She's in charge and is very nice to all of us Tigers.

This is me breaking a board...with my BARE HAND!!!

Working the focus pads...

Single punches

Triple punches...and the yawn seen around the world!

Springtime Fun

Well I got to go to a few new and old familiar places in the past few months. Just the past weekend, mom and dad took me to the Dogwood Festival, where I got my face painted, played some games, and got to walk around with my Primrose friend, Emily and her parents.
Previously, I took a trip for a weekend with Dad to Sandestin, to visit papa Johna and Aunt Dana and my cousins, Madison, Michael and Samantha. Dana's friend, Ursula, was also there with her husband and daughter, Olivia, who I had a lot of fun with too.
Then I also went to my first pony birthday party for Claire, Susie and Francie Carson, where I rode a pony and even got to paint one too! It was a lot of fun. Next up, a trip to Vegas for mom and dad for Dave Matthews, but I get to fly with Dad to Chicago and play with my cousins again at Aunt Dana and Uncle Mike's house. We'll see if this makes Aunt Dana want to have a fourth, but mom and dad are very grateful for the chance for their own fun weekend!

Enjoy!

I had to have a ladybug and butterfly painted on my face. Aren't I so cute?!

Emily and I sitting to watch the puppet show at the Dogwood Festival.

Emily and I taking cover from the rain. It scared away lots of crowds, but turned out to be a nice day!

Pony party! Time to paint the pony!

Sandestin - Michael and I got to bounce high on the trampoline, and I felt like I was flying!

Me, Olivia, Madison and Michael at the beach.

Putting on my best princess face!

Watch out equestrian! I'm a natural. Ha ha.

The Pledge

Hi Everyone,

I had a great day today!

First of all, it was Saturday so I got to sleep in (always cool), then I went to gymnastics class...I got to wear my snazzy new leotard and then I hung out with my neighbourhood friend Emily! When it was time to go home the fun didn't stop as one of my neighbours (Miss Rita), gave me some treats from the Mardi Gras party she attended.

Here are some pics and video that I thought you would enjoy.

This video is me reciting the Pledge of Allegiance (Daddy also knows the words but Mommy doesn't....don't tell anyone but she's Canadian....)

Here are some pictures of me at gymnastics class!

Trying out the balance beam (it's one of my favourites).

Hanging out on the uneven bars.

Strutting my stuff on the mat.

On the balance beam again

Don't I look adorable in my leotard!
I also took a trip to New York earlure in the month. Here I am chilling at the Atlanta airport.

This was a friend I met at a party in New York...we all went to Great Aunt Vickie's after the party.

Close up of me.

Riding the Air Tram at Newark airport.

Helping Papa Johna out with his luggage in Atlanta.

Hope you enjoyed the update....Caio!!!

Birthday / X-Mas post

Yes, yes,

I know that it's been EONS since I've posted anything...sorry....I'm a busy toddler!
There are a few pics from my 3rd birthday ("I used to be two but now I'm three!") and the rest document my travels to and from the Labrador/Quebec border (known to the locals as "The Coast") for X-Mas.

They're in no particular order. Mama didn't have time to organize the pictures...she mumbled something about Beef Strogonaff for dinner and then something about her evil plot to dominate the world.

My 3rd B-Day party was held at a place called Gorga Monkey's with lots of giant inflatables to bounce on. Here I am about to go head-first down a very steep slide.

Oh, oh...I appear to be stuck! Maybe if I look at the grown-ups with my lost little lamb eyes someone will rescue me.

I had Ahva over for a sleepover (well...almost;). Here we are jumping around in a container of balloons in my room. My Daddy blew up every one of them. Thanks Daddy:)

Contemplating my cupcake. Chocolate...yummmm.

About to blow out the candles!

I'm on my Great Uncle Medric's ski-doo. I LOVED the ski-doo...almost as much as Daddy did.

Here I am with Daddy on the ski-doo...he insisted on driving.

I'm just having my hair brushed...but it was too cute not to publish.

I helped Great Aunt Jackie make the banana split dessert AND the bread.

See...photographic proof of my assistance!

Yum!

OMG......REALLY!!!!!!!!

DOH!!!!!

I'm on the ferry between Blanc-Sablon, QC and St. Barbe's, NF with my long lost cousin Thomas. We're something like 4th or 5th cousins...Mama didn't work it out exactly....

This is my Great Nanny Keats.

Opening presents on X-Mas day.

The Barbie dress was one of my favourites! Thanks Uncle Moose Man and Aunt Raquel.

Whhheeeee!!!!

Vrrrooommmm!!!

I really had to bundle up to stay warm. That's GrandDad's truck in the background.
Playing in the snow with Mama.

Attempting to cross country ski.

Buried in the snow.

My first time on skates!

Aunt Jackie's dog storm. We became good buds.

Four generations of woman...my great nanny, my nanny, my mama and ME:) Of..Socket wanted to be in the picture too.

Waiting for the plane from Atlanta, GA to Boston, MA....I like looking at the airplanes on the tarmac.

Just me being cute:)

On the plane.

Playing in the snow at Nanny and GrandDad's.

Here I am with Mama.

Me and Daddy on the small plane from Boston, MA to Bangor, ME.

There were 9 travel days in all...sometimes we slept!

muummmmmm...good milk.

Standed in St. Barb's...Socket and I chillin in the hotel room.

Skating!!!! And yes, this isn't a rink but a frozen pond. So THAT's why Canadians are such good hockey players...they start really young and the whole country is an ice rink!!!

So that's it...hope you enjoyed it and I'll try to get back to more frequent postings in the new year.

Caio!!!!!

Mac.
